Most non-European nationals will need a Schengen visa to visit Europe.
The following nationalities do not need a Schengen visa provided that they will be visiting only for tourism and have valid medical insurance (for details, please see number 8 on 'What documents do I need?').
If your nationality is not in the lists below, you will need a Schengen visa.
Antigua and Barbuda
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Saint Kitts and Nevis
The UK's departure from the EU and the loss of free movement rights will have an affect on UK citizen's rights to travel in the Schengen area, but the affect should be minor.
See our page on the UK and the Schengen area for more details and to stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
